  The salmon caesar salad is excellent, as is the sirloin filet and fish fry. Good beer on tap and a reasonable wine selection.

  MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE TWO LAKE SIDE VACATION HOMES AND WE VISIT THEM A FEW TIMES A YEAR SO WE'VE EATEN AT MARINERS LANDING AT LEAST FOUR TIMES GIVE OR TAKE.
  
  THE ATMOSPHERE IS INVITING. THE INTERIOR HAS SORT OF AN OLDER STYLE OF TABLES AND SCENERY.
  
  I ORDERED THEIR CHICKEN AND BISCUITS ONE OF THE VISITS AND IT WAS MY FIRST TIME WITH THIS ENTREE.... NEVER HAD CHICKEN AND BISCUITS BEFORE. ANYWAY, I was pretty disappointed because something was really salty... Not sure if it was the chicken, biscuits or gravy but I couldn't take a second bite. That bad....
  
  The most recent visit was August 16th or 17th....2016.... And I tried the Mariners Chicken (see photo) and I'll give it a 2, and that's being nice. The chicken was okay but no flavor at all. The cheese and mushroom topping ended up getting hard and turned into sort of a hard pancake like. The mashed potatoes were good.
  
  Service was great.
  
  The big fish tank in the formal dining area is cool to look at but it's right next to the ladies restroom which also has a dining table we sat at - not a great place to eat since each time someone went in and out of the resteoom, you would get a wiff here and there of the restroom.
  
  I'll keep going there because I'm open minded and believe there are good things on the menu that I haven't tried yet..... So I'll keep going there until I find that one super dish that keeps me coming back and ordering it again.

  P.S. MAJOR DOWNFALL
  the fish is not fresh....we were told it's flown in from from Europe and was frozen prior to the special dinner that night. Its ironic because they are on LAKE ONTARIO. :/
